Professional Affiliations
ASCOM Electric is a proud member of the Central PA IEC.  Our apprentices attend a four year educational program to obtain their Journeyman qualification.  ASCOM is a locally-owned business known as a leader for Electricians in York County with over 100 years of electrical contracting experience. Since 1988, ASCOM Electric has specialized in design-build electrical construction projects, as well as industrial and commercial electric and residential electric.  Other specialties include generator installation, solar installation, and voice/data cable installation.

Cheryl Eckenrode has been recently hired bringing over 30 years of construction industry experience.  She is ASCOM's Office Assistant.

Lori Kunselman,  has been with Ascom for over 2 years, as an  Administrative Assistant.

Seth McDaniel,  has recently been hired as a laborer and aspiring Electrical Apprentice.

Bruce Renfrew has been with Ascom for over 16 years.  He is a trained Journeyman Electrician, and is OSHA certified.  He is also CDL qualified.  In addition to performing electrical work, he is Ascom’s heavy equipment operator.

Harry Wainright has been with Ascom for over 9 years, and has an additional 20 years of electrical experience.  He is a trained Journeyman Electrician, Certified Master Electrician, and is OSHA certified.  He is Ascom’s commercial/ industrial wiring specialist.

Jason VanSickle has been with Ascom for over 9 years.  He is a trained Journeyman Electrician, and is OSHA certified.

Kyle Dowling has been with Ascom for over 4 years.  He is a trained Journeyman Electrician, and is OSHA certified.

Duane Sharp has been with Ascom for over 11 years.  He is a trained Journeyman Electrician, Certified Master Electrician, and is OSHA certified.  He is  ASCOM’s residential wiring specialist.

Kurt Geisinger has been with Ascom for over 5 years.  He is a trained Journeyman Electrician, and is OSHA certified.  He has completed additional training for Solar Hot Water Installation through Enerworks, and is Ascom’s in-house solar-thermal (hot water) specialist.  Kurt is an approved Solar Thermal Installer for PA Sunshine Program.

Brent Riden has been with Ascom for 2 years.  He is in his 2nd year of the Electrical Apprenticeship Program through the IEC.

Third row, standing, left to right:
Ed McDaniel, Sr. Project Manager, has been with Ascom for over 19 years.  He is a trained Journeyman Electrician, and is OSHA certified.  He has completed hundreds of hours of additional training in the field of Grid-Tied Photovoltaics, and is Ascom’s in-house solar-electricity “professor.”

Tyler White- Has recently been hired as a laborer and aspiring Electrical Apprentice.

Cliff Thomas - Has recently been hired and brings 20+ years of electrical experience to ASCOM. He is a trained Journeyman Electrician.

Mike Boritz, Principal/ President, has been in the electrical/ communication/ security industry for over 35 years.  He is a Certified Master Electrician and is responsible for bidding and securing large scale projects.

Jeff Georg, Vice President, has been involved with construction, project management, and land procurement and development for over 15 years.  He is a Certified Green Professional through the National Association of Home Builders and a LEED Green Associate. He is Ascom’s Solar Energy Spokesperson.

Austin Boop has been with Ascom for over 3 years.  He is in his 3rd year of the Electrical Apprenticeship Program through the IEC.

Braydon Aldinger has been with Ascom for over 2 years.  He is in his 2nd year of the Electrical Apprenticeship Program through the IEC.
